Swing Under the Wings: A Night to Remember
What a night! The Olathe Chapter, NSDAR’s Swing Under the Wings Hangar Dance at the Commemorative AirForce Hangar on September 26th
was a sold-out success, bringing guests together for an unforgettable evening filled with music, dancing, shopping and fun.
Guests hit the dance floor and learned new swing dance moves from talented instructors before putting their new skills to work. The evening also featured excellent live music that kept the hangar buzzing and the dance floor moving.
Beyond the fun, the evening had an important purpose: raising funds to support the Olathe Chapter, NSDAR and its work in the community. Thanks to our wonderful guests, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, the event was a tremendous success.
From the first dance to the last song, Swing Under the Wings proved to be a fantastic way to celebrate the spirit of the 1940s while supporting the mission of the DAR: to promote patriotism, preserve American history and secure America’s future through better education for children. We are already looking forward to doing it all again!
