Swing Under the Wings
A 1940s Hangar Dance You'll never Forget
Step back in time for a night filled with big band music, vintage style, and the charm of the World War II era, along with dinner, dancing, and a silent auction full of treasures.
The Experience
Presented by the Olathe Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) and held at the historic Commemorative Air Force Hangar, this unforgettable evening is more than a dance... it’s a step into history.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their 1940s best to fully embrace the charm and spirit of the era. From retro table décor to nostalgic photo opportunities, you’ll be transported back to a time when swing was king and community gatherings brought people together in celebration.
Dance the night away to live music from the World War II era.
